Yes. When you pay the full outstanding balance and the payment clears, the account is settled and closed. Recovery activity ends, and you will receive no further contact from us about this account.
If you pay by card online, the payment is typically confirmed within a short time and the account is updated promptly. Bank transfers can take one to two business days to clear, so you may receive a routine reminder during that window — this is not an indication that your payment has failed.
Once payment has fully cleared, we notify the original creditor so their records are updated. If you would like written confirmation that the account has been settled and closed, contact us and we will provide it — many people keep this for their records.
