I have more than one debt with Merion — can I pay them all together?

Payments & arrangements

If you have more than one account referred to Merion — for example, debts owed to different creditors, or multiple invoices from the same creditor that have been lodged as separate accounts — you may be able to address them together rather than individually.

Why this matters: Each account with Merion has its own reference number and is tracked separately. A payment made against one reference number will only apply to that account. To pay multiple accounts, you either need to make separate payments with each reference number, or contact us to arrange a consolidated approach.

How to consolidate:

  1. Contact us and provide your name and all reference numbers you have received. We will identify all accounts we hold against your details.
  2. We will confirm the total outstanding across all accounts and the best way to make a consolidated payment or set up a single arrangement that covers all of them.
  3. If you are proposing a payment arrangement across multiple accounts, a single plan may be possible — but we need to review each account to confirm what can be accommodated.

If paying all accounts in full is not currently possible, see the articles on payment arrangements and hardship. A free financial counsellor through the National Debt Helpline (1800 007 007) can also help you manage multiple debts at once.
