Missing an instalment under a payment arrangement is not ideal, but it does not have to become a bigger problem — provided you contact us quickly.
If you know in advance that you will miss a payment — because your circumstances have changed or a payment date does not work — contact us before the due date. We can often adjust the timing or amount without the arrangement falling into default.
If you have already missed a payment, contact us as soon as possible and explain the reason. A single missed instalment, responded to promptly, is almost always manageable. What tends to cause more difficulty is missing payments and not making contact, which can cause the account to revert to ordinary recovery.
