How quickly your payment clears depends on the method you use. Here is a general guide:
- Credit or debit card (online) — card payments processed through our secure payment page are typically confirmed within minutes. Your account is updated promptly once the payment is received.
- Bank transfer (EFT) — payments made by bank transfer usually take one to two business days to reach us and be matched to your account. You may receive a routine reminder during this period — that does not mean your payment has failed.
- BPAY — BPAY payments are typically received within one business day, though this can vary depending on your financial institution.
The debt is considered paid once the funds have cleared and been matched to your account. We then update the original creditor's records and the account is closed.
If you would like written confirmation that your payment has been received and the account is settled, contact us quoting your reference number and we will provide it. Always keep your own record of every payment — the date, amount, method and any transaction reference — in case questions arise later.
