When to update
Each card payment on the Pay your balance page is entered fresh, so a new or replacement card simply needs to be entered next time you pay. Updating matters most when you are on an instalment plan and the details on file have changed.
Step by step
- For a one-off payment, just enter your current card details on the Pay your balance page — there is nothing to update in advance.
- If you are on a plan, note what has changed: a new card, a different bank account, or a new email for receipts.
- Contact us through the Help Centre before your next instalment is due.
- Provide your reference number and the updated details after we verify your identity.
- Confirm the date your next instalment will be taken or made.
- Keep the confirmation that the change has been recorded.
Keeping a plan running
Updating in good time means an instalment will not be missed because an old card has expired. If a payment has already failed, contact us straight away so it can be made up and the arrangement stays on track.
Good to know
- One-off card payments use whatever card you enter at the time.
- Update details before the next instalment on a plan is due.
- Tell us promptly if a card expires or an account changes.
- Confirm the next payment date once details are updated.
